FAQ

What you need to know

What size skip do I need?

Make sure you don't under estimate the size of the skip you need as two small skips can be more expensive than one large one. Skips need to be level loaded otherwise we will not be able to transport them.

What can I put in the skip?

Skips are for general and safe waste only, we cannot accept fridges, T.V's or monitors, mattresses, tyres, paints, solvents, asbestos, gas cylinders or hazardous waste. If you are unsure please contact us with your queries.

Where can the skip be placed?

Enter the Answer to your Question here. Be thoughtful with your answer, write clearly, and consider adding examples. This can help your visitors get the help they need quickly and easily.

Do YOU COVER MY AREA?

Please visit Areas We Cover for more details. If you are just on our boarder please Contact Us to discuss as we may be able to meet your requirements.

What is a level load?

Level load means that all of the waste is contained within the skip and it is no higher than the sides. This is a safety requirement as skips that are overfull are hazardous to transport.

How long can I have the skip for?

You can have the skip for up to two weeks or you can arrange the skip to be collected on the same day as delivery. once you have finished with your skip you should contact the office to arrange collection.

Will the skip damage my driveway?

Our drivers are trained to minimise the risk of damage but due to the weight of the skip and or wagon and the stabilizing equipment of the wagon, damage can sometimes occur. If this is a concern for you we can organise a permit for you and have your skip placed on the highway.

How do i pay

Payment must be made upon or before delivery of the skip. You can pay the driver via cash or we accept all major credit or debit card payments over the phone.
